]]> Carrie Lau is an L.A.-based designer and the person behind the Object-Matter Ceramic design studio. As we read on her website, Lau’s work is “distinguished by their modern and curvilinear form, as well as their playful movement and naturalistic tension.”

Lau was born and raised in Hong Kong, but she currently lives on the West Coast with her furry baby Bowl. Even though she enjoys minimalism, she still includes color in her work. Playing with different colors and designs is what makes it so enjoyable for her.
