]]>“Tuza has become one of the most sustainable and ethical brands of its kind by maintaining a made to order model in its workshop in the heart of Mexico City,” reads their website. “As an outcome, they’ve been able to create jobs for raisins and support local suppliers.”
Each Tuza piece is handmade and assembled in the Tuza Mexico City workshop by a team of jewelers using sterling silver, with the option to plate in yellow gold or rose gold. Every season, Tuza donates a portion of proceeds to female-led organizations, as Atala treats her brand as a part of the female empowerment movement.
Now you can upgrade your wardrobe and contribute to a worthy cause at the same time! Win-win.

]]>It seems pretty clear, at first glance, that “Checking Invoices” does not take fashion too seriously, and yet Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Margiela, Gucci or Prada have all dressed the character who embodies this Instagram account. The model on this account adds layer by layer, fabric on fabric, to present her outfit of the day daily more luxurious, like a second skin.
The additional fun comes from the fact that this anonymous model, wearing the most beautiful clothes, poses in situations of everyday life and accomplishes quite usual tasks, such as going shopping or walking the streets. The shots are accompanied by simple captions such as “Monday, on the way to work.”
Launched in 2016, “Checking Invoices” is managed by two people that wish to remain anonymous as the character they created. However, after a short investigation, Vogue found out that the duo consists of two Greek expats living in Milan: the model is a stylist and the photographer is a director and designer. The mysterious name of the account is in fact a nod to the stylist’s job of “regularly checking the bills of the required accessories” for a shoot.
The model says that her masked and enigmatic character is so popular with brands and Internet users in our digital age due to the need for privacy and mystery around the person. Today, the duo has access to the biggest world’s brands and have fun shocking people in the street with this elastane suit. These two creatives desecrate haute couture with lightness, through a uninhibited and absurd character they created from scratch, which they examine from every angle.
