]]> Josie Eadie is a graphic designer from Sydney who doodles the adorable comics about the things she finds inspiring in her daily life.

“I launched into my creative career at a corporate design agency, where I quickly learned and adopted independence as a designer from brief to concepts to finished artwork. Freelancing since 2008, I have used my design skills to assist the big, the medium and the small businesses as well as nonprofit organizations, strengthening their branding, marketing, and promotional collateral,” Eadie writes on her website.

She finds joy in “strong typography and layout skills,” and it shows in her work. You can follow her work on her Instagram page Josie Doodles.

“The things you own end up owning you.” – Chuck Palahniuk #reduce #reuse #recycle If you need a wee bit of motivation to be a better resident to this planet, check out @grumpyturtledesign Harriet is the most dedicated person to the environment I have ever met. She started a clean up/research movement #strawkling (you got it, it’s snorkelling for plastic straws that so easily end up in our ocean). An unnecessary item for, most of, us. If you’re in the northern Sydney area, come join the next strawkle at Manly. It’s amazing ocean heroes like Harriet who give me that daily reminder why I don’t need that item brand new, and why I shouldn’t just walk passed that plastic trash on the footpath I can so easily bin. It’s too easy to say “there’s just so much, how can my small act make a difference?”. But as Alice Walker said, “The most common way people give up their power, is by thinking they don’t have any.” With the Australian Federal election coming in just a couple of weeks, it’s time we put these issues at the forefront of our votes. ✏ josieeadie.com/shop
