]]> Folded, glued, assembled, cut… old cutlery sculptures by the artist Matt Wilson give life to animals made using scrap metal. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Matt Wilson has shown an interest in art from an early age. He was appointed the director of the Fine Arts Center Arts in Greenville, and in 2006 began his passion for metal sculpture.

Wilson’s metal creations are made with salvaged pieces such as knives, forks, spoons and other metal pieces. On his Instagram account, Wilson shows us his amazing ability to bring life to assorted found objects. He twists and welds the material to create to multiple types of birds but also to sculpt them into monkeys, deer or owls.
