]]> Mattia Mambo is a self-taught tattoo artist from Italy whose style is recognizable for its bold lines and bright colors layered over each other. He deconstructs his client’s favorite animal, fruit, flower, or celebrity and creates a unique tattoo in his style.

“What inspired me most has probably been my passion for graphic designs and logos—I love simple shapes. Every day I’m encouraged by the objective of simplifying each image as much as possible and making it clear and intuitive using only few black lines. But both black lines and colors are fundamental: the colors tell what the black lines can’t do,” says the artist.
