Studio 188 is a Russian group that’s behind these hilarious low-cost versions of famous movies. They upload their videos on YouTube and always get hundreds of thousands of views. The latest video they published tells us the story of Titanic all over again and we can safely say the is the first time you’ll find the story hilarious.

The channel has existed since 2016 but the videos only recently started going viral. Studio 188 is not the first to film movie parodies, but they stood out with an incredible sense of humor and some hard work.

“We adapted the low-budget remake format from the internet to participate in a competition and make money,” Evgeny Makhotin from the group told Scroll.in. “There is no such thing happening in Russia, so we thought it would be cool to do it in Russian. But among Russians, we never became popular, and as long as we filmed in Russian, we weren’t getting enough views.”

Have you ever wondered how movie effects are created? Well, this ‘gram account will give you an idea of how the process works.

Instagram account, @movies.effects, shows users behind the scene shots of your favorite movies. Visual effects or VFX help create imagery that cannot be achieved by live-action shooting alone. This technology makes it easier to depict landscapes that are not real and can also create characters without the need for makeup.

It also saves film makers a lot of money which would have been used to build sets or destroy structures. So many movies have benefited from this technology. Some popular ones include The Avatar, The Avengers, and several other sci-fi movies. What do you think about this technology, impressive right? We think so too.
