New colorful sculptures appeared in the public area of Boston. It’s part of the Air Sea Land project created by Spanish artist Okuda. He is a multidisciplinary artist and designer and has achieved world fame with the colorful refurbishment he did for buildings.

In recent times, Okuda has increasingly focused on making sculptures. An obvious switch, because the geometrical images that he always made can be translated into three dimensions.

There are seven sculptures around Seaport Boulevard in Boston that together form the Air Sea Land collection. The sculptures are between 2.5 and 3.5 meters high and are partly based on animals living in the Boston area (squirrel and deer), but also fantasy animals imagined by the artist (a seagull with arms and legs).
