The idea of creating this type of video came randomly. Challiner was scrolling through YouTube when she saw a video called Testing Women’s Pregnancy Cravings. That was the moment when she decided to try filming herself taste-testing weird food combos—even though she isn’t pregnant herself. Her first video blew up social media, so the creator continued making clips. Since then, she has uploaded over 20 videos, and now women from all around the world send their odd pregnancy cravings.
“In my opinion, some of the best pregnancy cravings have been chips and honey, apple and cheese, and ice cream on toast. The worst pregnancy cravings I’ve tried are either plain flour, cornstarch, or apple and toothpaste… ew!” she said in an interview for Bored Panda.
