Check Out These Beautiful Photographs of Sharks

Sean Scott is a wildlife photographer who captured the remarkable shots of a shark frenzy at Red Bluff on Quobba Station in Western Australia.

“Over 200 bronze whaler sharks feeding on the bait ball,” photographer remembers. “The surf was pumping and it was awesome to see. I filmed the sharks for about one hour when I noticed the baitfish got pushed in very close to the shore. I could then see some big sharks close to the waves. It was then when I decided to land the drone and pick up my big camera and lens to try and see if I could get a shot of the sharks from the beach.”

This image has been doing the rounds again. This time over in Europe. I have woken up to thousands of new followers and media requests from all over the world. This was a great example of being in the right place at the right time and having my gear ready to go. Good news is I’m planning a trip back over to WA again this year to hopefully put myself in the right place again. Thank you everybody who has just joined and all my loyal followers. I have a lot of big news coming out in the next few months and have road trips planned the entire length of the @queensland coast. An outback road trip and then another lap around Australia. A big focus this year will be on my photography and trying to be in the right place at the right time so stay tuned for some incredible @australia road trips. @canonaustraliapro

One of the unseen images from my shark images taken at Red Bluff. How many sharks can you see ? I have one of these printed up in my gallery now on glass and it looks incredible. I’m home now and will be in store most days until the new year. Hope to see you guys there. @seanscottboutique

Just before I took the previous shot I was watching this go down. There were over 200 sharks feeding on bait fish about 50 metres away from these guys when a couple of big bronze whalers went to check them out. They soon realised these body boards were not there food and turned back to the bait fish. So awesome to witness such a healthy eco system and really shows you we are not food for the sharks. Another hundred metres away were about 20 surfers going surfing without any problems. @australias_outback

I’m loving being home catching up on so much over due work. This was shot at Kirra and I love how my home here in @queensland has some of the clearest waters in the world.
