Inspired by nature, self-taught photographer Jakub Wencek loves taking incredible photos of forests and landscapes especially in his hometown, Milicz, Poland. He shared on his Facebook page that forest was always close to him ever since he was young but he often overlooked its beauty.
It was only when he realized that these amazing views were seen only by few people that he started to explore the forest and take pictures of its extraordinary beauty.
“I have a great luck to be in a forest every day, discover the mystery of my forestland and taking photos of the amazing nature which surrounds me,” he wrote on Displate.
In addition to taking breathtaking photos of trees, he also shares facts about trees or his fun experiences while capturing its splendor.
“Forest treasures. Deer antlers. Strolling through the forest, you can come across such a treasure. It is a fragment of a deer antler called colloquially, because deer lose them at the turn of January-March. From spring, the antlers begin to grow back again. This is my first such find for 3 years 😀. To find them you need to know the places of deer’s existence or have a lot of luck 😉,” he wrote on one of his Instagram posts.
“All magic begins when we take the antler to hand. We can feel how heavy it is, feel its structure and touch how smooth its ends.”
