A Trip Around Gaia on a Motorcycle

Ivana and Manu have been traveling around the world on a motorcycle for more than ten years. While exploring and experiencing everything that this tasty piece of Earth – Gaia – has to offer, they have also been taking breathtaking pictures of nature and cultures around the world.

This traveling couple, for whom life is a journey, has visited over seventy-five countries in the course of the last ten years. They had first started backpacking and hitchhiking through South America and Southeast Asia, until, in 2011, while in India, they decided to continue traveling on a motorcycle. With a 70s Royal Enfield, they began with a full tour of India, and went on to travel through five continents, on their trip around Gaia.

Their largest expedition spanned between 2013 and 2017, when they crossed the globe on their motorbike, visiting sixty-nine countries, while continuously traveling through the points connecting all the continents – from the deserts of Atacama or Namibia, to the Amazon rainforest, to the Arctic seashore, and the Pamir mountains. After tasting the freedom of the open road, Ivana and Manu couldn’t stop traveling, so they embarked upon a new expedition – this time with a van – in 2018.
