An Agoraphobic Traveler Creates Beautiful Travel Photos Using Google Street View

Unable to travel, this artist compiles photos of her virtual journeys, made from screenshots on Google Street View, on her Instagram account. Having chronic anxiety and agoraphobia, she cannot fly or even travel due to her phobias. So, she decided to get around the problem by escaping virtually through Google Street View.

On her Instagram account called Agoraphobic Traveler, she publishes beautiful retouched shots accompanied by a small text in which she explains what images evoke for him. Between landscapes, architecture and the local population, all the elements come together to stimulate the imagination and travel by the spirit. All this creates a wonderful message of hope.

See some of her wonderful travel photos below.

Google Street View Scene – Chasing the Google car, playing football or just hanging out, here are my favourite captures of kids from all around the world. On another note, I'm currently looking for a Creative Assistant to work alongside me over the next few months. I've got a couple of really exciting art and photography projects starting and I'm looking for someone who can help with image research, image curation and also with a bit of design/photoshop work. The job will be based in Central London. If you're interested and want to know more, send me a DM along with some info about you X. . . . . #theagoraphobictraveller #streetviewportraits #anxiety #mentalhealth #googlestreetview #agoraphobia
