Artist Turns Iconic Paintings Into Pixelated Street Art

Screw7oose is a Sydney street artist that recreates famous paintings using thousands of wooden cubes.

He was obsessed with Nintendo Entertainment System when he was a kid and became interested in pixels. He watched Exit Through The Gift Shop a few years ago and was inspired by artists such as Banksy and Invader to become a street artist.

His first group exhibition was in March and submitted “Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette” by Vincent Van Gogh. Check out his amazing artworks below.
