Chuubibi is a pseudonym for a Sydney-based artist Lucy who likes drawing cute and bubbly characters. The talented artist says she is 100% self-taught and that it took quite a lot of experimenting and personal exploration to achieve the style she now has.
“In my opinion, an art style is something which comes and goes. Sometimes you may like it, and other times, it may look like the ugliest thing you’ve ever seen,” she shared on her personal website and added that creating adorable things is what she has always enjoyed doing.
For each image, Lucy needs approximately four to five hours for simple pieces, while a full-body piece requires more than seven. She also makes tutorials and lessons which can be found on her Patreon page.
