Embroider Carolina Torres has enjoyed creating handmade stuff since she was a little girl. The Colombia-born artist uses different techniques like textiles, yarn, and thread to create her artwork. Not long ago, she discovered the world of embroidery and has been focusing on creating unique landscapes using this art.
She says that embroidery is an art “that cultivates a special sensibility which comes from using the hands to create something captivating. It can be considered a rhythmic composition assembled stitch after stitch.”
“My art represents the love I have for nature, art and crafting. Using needle and thread I make intricate landscapes inspired by the diversity found in nature,” the artist shared on Bored Panda and added, “Rare color palettes, complex textures, and unique techniques are the essential elements that identify my art.
She posts images of her creations on her Instagram account and she has an Etsy store where she sells her beautiful masterpieces.
