Check Out How Heinz Tomato Ketchup is Made

Ketchup is one of the most popular condiments in the world. And it isn’t hard to figure out why. It goes well with almost everything, starting from French fries and hot dogs to pizza and burgers. Everything tastes a little better with ketchup, that’s for sure.

Most of us really enjoy this tasty condiment, but did you ever wonder how ketchup is actually made? The process is, in fact, fascinating, and now we can learn all about it thanks to the crew from the Food Insider YouTube channel. They recently decided to pay a visit to one factory that produces famous Heinz Tomato Ketchup and were given exclusive behind the scenes access.

The process starts with tomato paste that is put into containers and mixed with water. The paste is then transported to “ketchup kitchen,” where it’s mixed with sugar, vinegar, brine, and secret spices. This mixture is first heated and then cooled down in order to achieve its recognizable consistency. It may not seem cool now, but wait until you see it with your own eyes.
