Check Out This Mosaic Floor Created With 7,500 Pennies

With all the time on our hands while being in quarantine, many of us have taken up DIY crafts to occupy ourselves and learn new skills. You’ve probably tie-dyed enough shirts, completed tons of puzzles, and embroidered artwork, but if you’re looking for something new to try out, you’ll want to check out this artist!

Kelly Graham of Camias Jewelry Designs shared the finished product of her DIY creation. She was inspired to share her mosaic floor art made from pennies after Kat Von D shared her impressive floor art made from 29,928 pennies. The art was created by Graham back in 2015 from 7,500 pennies and over the five years she’s had it, it’s held up pretty well.

“6 years ago, this was my first attempt at working with pennies I had collected before I went on to do the penny floor a year later,” she told Bored Panda.

The 7,500 penny mosaic took her over five years to create and it’s held together with sealant glue. “I made my own penny floor in my foyer room,” Graham’s post on Facebook read.
