Vincent van Gogh was an incredible artist with a fascinating life story that inspires people to this day. His life was short but eventful, and it’s what inspired Iranian cartoonist Alireza Karimi Moghaddam to create a series of comic-like illustrations in celebration of van Gogh.
“Van Gogh’s life was all about beauty and love,” Moghaddam writes on his website. “It may have had a bitter ending, but it was inspirational for the future.” Each of his cartoons pays homage to van Gogh’s artistic style and mimics the vibrant colors he was using.
