You can say a lot about the NYC subway, but it’s definitely not a boring place. Day after day, commuters witness weird things that have over time became an important part of the city’s most used public transport. There’s an Instagram account called Subway Creatures that posts photos and videos they get from the subway commuters, and it recently collaborated with illustrator David Regone who created a series of whimsical illustrations that show the NYC subway in all its glory.
Regone shared the first illustration he did on his Instagram, writing: “First piece in my Subway series! Had a lot of fun with this one and there are so many details that won’t make it into this post. But, If you like what you see, you can order a print for your self on the link in my bio! Thanks for the support everyone.”
