Delve into Wilderness With Michelle Morin’s Paintings

Living and working from the Seacoast of New Hampshire, Michelle Morin’s artworks capture the spirit of wilderness. Her paintings and illustration, focusing on plants and wildlife, make the ideal setting for a day trip.

“My paintings are an attempt at finding a balance within the complexities and subtleties of nature using texture, pattern, and narrative elements throughout,” writes the artist on her website. “Through my travels I continue to seek out inspiration from the natural world while honing in on the unique details that define each place.”

Studying painting and art history at Massachusetts College of Art, Morin’s work ranges from elaborate watercolor and gouache compositions on paper to vast and more layered paintings on canvas.

With the use of bright colors and complex compositions, her paintings are truly something out of the ordinary.
