Artist John Brosio shows us typical America in the suburbs… but with a good dose of surrealism.
The world that Brosio created contains huge animals that terrorize the whole world, as well as UFO or a huge cup of soda pop up. These look like images from a badly written science-fiction film. You also wonder what actually happens after this scene. Especially because in addition to the threat, a lot of humor can be discovered in the image.
Brosio’s goal is to hold an uncomfortable mirror to average America. Is this a future that we should fear or does this remain only in the artist’s fantasy?
