IKEA Just Recreated Rooms from 3 Famous TV Shows

Did you ever looked at Monica Geller’s apartment from cult TV sitcom Friends and had a wish to get the same décor? Maybe your dream living room was the one from The Simpsons? Well, whatever the case may be, now you can fulfill that dream thanks to IKEA.

IKEA in the United Arab Emirates recently launched an awesome campaign in which they decided to recreate rooms from Friends, The Simpsons, and Stranger Things. The company hired Publicis Spain to turn the idea to reality, and its experts ended up spending more than two months looking for matching IKEA pieces in order to get as close to the original as possible.

“The IKEA team worked closely with the creatives for months,” says Vinod Jayan, managing director of IKEA UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman. “They went through hundreds of items to find the perfect pieces that would bring those iconic rooms [to life]. It was a great collaborative effort that lead up to a stunning result. A true testament of what IKEA represents: a place where everyone can bring whatever idea they see or have to life.”

IKEA UAE will now put all three rooms on display at their locations in the entire Middle East, and allow its customers to purchase a single piece of the furniture or, if they feel so the entire set.
