Kelli Laderer’s Instagram feed will provide you the positive outlet you need these days. An illustrator and hand-lettering artist, her work is bright, bold, and graphic, often featuring uplifting quotes and mantras without being too preachy about it.
“My experiences and personal journey have been integral to what my art has currently transitioned into,” said Laderer in an interview with Ever Made. Combining her background in graphic design and fine art, Laderer aims to create positive change, by aligning her work with her ethics.
“If you’re here looking for someone to create an uber good brand or an illustration that spreads your message and exemplifies your values, SUPER, that’s what I do best,” reads her website. “I think a burning planet, plastic straws, and social injustices suck,” she adds. “That’s why I choose to work with people like you who believe in a more eco and socially conscious future.”
According to Laderer, she spent years of hard work (and a lot of trial and error) to get to where she is today. But after going to college to learn graphic design, what she calls “the responsible route,” she decided to muster up the courage and take a more scenic route.
