Melike Dez is a Toronto-based photographer who specializes in movement photography; she loves photography dance and circus arts. In her latest project, Dez collaborated with wedding and party dress designer Maria Arciero and launched a new poetic photographic series.
“It’s been a long time since I wanted to “marry” (!) ballet and wedding dresses,” artist shared on Fubiz. “I was happy to see my vision come true finally. Despite the cold temperatures, female and male dancers began to dance in the streets of Montreal dressed in taffeta, lace and tulle.”
The dancers who participated in this project are Ashley Mayeux, Adji Cissoko, Shuaib Dee Elhassan and Madeline DeVries.
Dez shares her images on her Instagram account where she has attracted almost 15 thousand followers and has gained hundreds of likes on each post.
