England-based Nina Cosford is a freelance illustrator who supports feminist views and often centers her art around the female narrative. “She often travels for her work and has an ever-growing collection of travel journals on her shelf which she writes and draws in on each trip,” Cosford’s website reads.
She has worked on many projects so far with clients such as HBO (promotion of Lena Dunham’s Girls), Visit Britain, Apple, Lonely Planet, House of Illustration, Maire Claire, and many more.
Cosford finds inspiration in powerful women. “I’m really excited about what future work [Lena Dunham] and other modern feminists, creatives and thinkers are going to inspire and am really chuffed to be a part of this stream of people, responding in my own way,” she said for Inky Goodness.
