Many artists see nature as their biggest source of inspiration, and they enjoy transforming plants and flowers into all sorts of different things. Svetlana, who runs the Instagram page handmadehome is taking things to a whole new level by turning rose petals into beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Svetlana starts her creative process by pressing plants and flowers inside a herbarium, and she breathes new life into them by transforming them into jewelry, usually made from polymer clay with a glossy coating.
“I take rosebuds apart and restructure them into new kinds of whimsical flowers. Now they can always stay in bloom without having a fear to fade. I use miniature kinds of roses so they are perfect for being turned into jewelry,” Svetlana told Bored Panda.
