]]>Sewing clothing may seem intimidating, especially when it’s so easy to just go online and buy stuff. But this Youtuber is here to prove to you that sewing is not just easy, but also fun!
Annika Victoria is a 22-year-old Youtuber and student from Sydney, Australia. She loves sewing and DIY in general. She sees sewing as both an eco-friendly way to expand her wardrobe and as a creative outlet. It 2011 she started her blog to teach others about sewing, but soon decided to create video tutorials instead.
Ever since 2014, she’s been sharing sewing tutorials and tips on her YouTube channel. Her aim is to prove that sewing is for everybody, and can be done on any budget. Sometimes she creates new clothes from scratch, but other times she upcycles and mends second-hand or torn clothes, giving new life to outfits that would have otherwise ended up in the trash been.
You don’t have to be a master sewist to follow Annika’s tutorials – and even if you don’t want to create your own clothes, it’s always fun to watch her process!
