]]> It is always wonderful to look at artists who sort and organize things into a beautiful whole. This is what is called Flat Lay, and this is a popular way to photograph objects. Especially on Instagram it is a big trend. The principle consists of arranging matching objects on a flat surface. Photographer Kristen Meyer does this in a very special way, by putting them in a beautiful geometric shape, often using the negative space.

In daily life, Meyer is a prop stylist and designer. As a result, she has developed a keen eye for detail and knows how to make something beautiful from the most simple and everyday things. Normally, a Flay Layer shows objects that a company is trying to sell but Meyer gives the trend an artistic twist. Moreover, she also destroys stuff to make the perfect photo.
