]]>This is the longest hedge maze in the world, stretching up to almost 1.7 miles. It’s part of 8000 acres of land that were owned by the Marquesses of Bath. The famous Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown took care of the land and created beautiful landscapes on about 900 acres.
Andrássy Castle can show-off with its unique hedge maze which is supposed to be a squid. Located near the Hungarian-Slovakian border near the Tisza River, this castle built in the 19th century is a great place to visit – and the hedge maze is not very tall, so it’s suitable for children too!
Constructed in 720, it’s one of the oldest mazes and also considered among the most difficult ones. Even Napoleon couldn’t be indifferent and tried to finish it, but with no success. Beside the labyrinth, you can also enjoy beautiful views from an 18th-century turret.
