]]>However, the artist has been struggling for a while now to make good photos of her creations for social media. She bought a standard lightbox from Amazon, but was still unsuccessful in her attempts to make the photos she wanted.
Luckily, her creative daughter came to the rescue by coming up with a unique plan for solving this problem. She designed a special lightbox that allowed her mom to easily create dreamy scenes for her felted animals.
“My daughter, who is studying A level DT, is always coming up with amazing product ideas and designs. She came up with an idea of a design for a unique lightbox, which would not only let in a lot more light but also allow for easy, changeable scene building/assembling,” the artist told Bored Panda.

]]>“I love needle felting, and thought it would be fun to make some realistic looking mice dolls and dress them up as recognizable characters,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “Being so small, they can be quite fiddly to make. Each mouse with outfit and accessories can take many hours to create. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I love making them!”
Edward Scissorhands, Maleficent, Star Wars, Elvis Presley, Amy Winehouse, and Batman are just some of the adorable mice Austin has created. Except mice, the textile artist makes other animals, as well. In her collection you can see adorable cats, dogs, pigs, birds and bunnies.
