Corgis are knowns for many lovely quirks—their fluffy butts, their tiny feet, their energy. But as only the truly devoted admirers of the breed will tell you, one of their best features is their expressions. Corgis have a special knack of making the most judging, passive-aggressive faces. And there’s an entire Facebook group dedicated to just that.
Disapproving Corgi was founded in 2014 by a group of corgi enthusiasts who wanted to celebrate their dog’s funny little quirks. Their dogs were giving them the side-eye, looking extremely disapproving and seeming to pass judgment on anything their owners were doing—for no reason at all!
There was a real need for a space were corgi-owners could share their experiences living with such judging friends, and thus the group was born. Over the years, more and more Corgi-owners and Corgi-less admirers joined the group to share, discuss, and analyze their pets’ moods and opinions about everything. Today, the group has over 60,000 friends and is still going strong. Even if you’re not especially into Corgis, a short visit to this group will get you smiling in no time—and you might find yourself scrolling endlessly and laughing at all the angry, adorable and unique Corgi face looking back at you from the screen!
