Before getting a tattoo, people tend to think a long time before which tattoo artist is going to draw it on them. They think about the design, the location and they want a talented and experienced artist to capture the spirit of their new tattoo. Well, not everyone apparently, since this Brazilian tattoo artist is famous for her awful drawings and yet, everyone wants to get a tattoo from her.
Helen Fernandes is a young artist from Salvador de Bahia, Brazil and has her own tattoo studio called “Malfeitona”, which translated means “ugly tattoos”. Her talent for drawing is, well, non-existent, but that doesn’t stop people from sharing her work. She’s been doing this for three years and it seems that she’ll do it for quite some time. She originally started drawing as a kid when her parents took her to church and in order to keep her quiet, gave her a pen and paper. She liked that so she continued drawing ever since.
With over 86 thousand followers on Instagram, she shares her work and people love it. It may not be as realistic as someone would like them to be, but they have their own charm and are definitely one of a kind!
