This Illustrator Knows a Thing or Two About Fashion

Born and raised in Paris to a mother who worked as a fashion designer, Marine de Quénetain’s fate was sealed: she was to become an illustrator and art director specializing in the beauty and fashion industry.

“I always saw her drawing fashion figures in her studio, listening to music,” she said about her mother, talking candidly in an interview with Global Blue. “I thought it was a very cool way to work and I planned to do the same at a very young age.”

Having graduated from ESAG Penninghen, Académie Julian in Paris in 2009 with a master’s degree in Art Direction and Graphic Design, de Quénetain went on to co-found a graphic design studio by the age of 22. Her creative style covers a wide range of styles and disciplines, from illustration to pattern design, posters and book covers.

With collaborations with brands like Chanel, Hermes, Goop, Louboutin, and Estée Lauder, as well as a noteworthy following on Instagram, the sky is truly the limit for her. Take a look for yourself.
