Artist Creates Baby Yoda Doll Using Only Materials She Found at Home

Gina Wetzel describes herself as an internationally published artist, costume designer, illustrator, and doll artist who likes to craft, draw, and travel. Like many others, she also fell in love with Baby Yoda and decided to make her own doll using materials she found in her house.

“Luckily all the materials were already in my studio (polymer clay, worbla and fabric) and I did not have to buy anything. Even his hair was made of sheep fur, that I pulled from my flokati rug,” the artist told Bored Panda and added that she has been crafting her own toys since she was a little girl.

“Some of my favorite shows were too old or not popular enough to get any merchandise. So it was just natural to get up and sculpt this little fellow, while there was no official doll in sight!”
