Heesoo Lee, an artist from Montana, creates these gorgeous ceramic vases that resemble seasonal woodlands by hand. She’s also an experienced painter, which explains how she’s able to create stunning pieces that honestly look like 3D landscape paintings.
Lee’s technique includes layering clay pieces on top of each other until the desired composition is achieved. She then paints them and gives them the finished look with a finishing glaze.
