Meet artist Vanessa Davis aka The Skulltress with more than one million followers on Instagram. Vanessa is followed by many for her incredible face art.
As a skulltress artist, she uses prosthetics, jewels, airbrushing, and more to create her out-of-this-world looks. Her looks range from skulls and built in castles. One time she even created a mohawk out of deconstructed barbies.
To create her look she takes her precious time to make sure her art is on point and flawless. Each look is different from the other and takes hours to create.
Being able to use her talent to express her love for art is both inspiring and fun. She loves the feedback and attention she gets from her fans and gives her all to make sure she delivers.

This is MAKEUP! FLAMINGO FRIDAY 💕 This was an exercise in symmetry, shading, and patience. The flamingo was suggested by my husband @tomocarb and was heavily inspired by @tinorodriguezartist piece ‘Strange Charm’ comprised of geese, recreated onto my face. I discovered this painting on Pinterest and later discovered Tino’s flamingo piece after this makeup. Tino’s painting work is extraordinary, beautiful and impressive. I’m so inspired by him! Fun fact regarding Flamingos: they are unique birds, not only do they mate for life, they also participate in synchronised mating rituals!
