American illustrator Calvin Sprague creates beautiful, bold illustrations that show geometric shapes and distorted bodies. The artist is located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where he’s devoted to working on his art.
“Before Calvin relocated to The Netherlands, he lived his life in Texas. Here he co-founded the studio Pavlov Visuals in 2009 with his brother Ryan Sprague and longtime friend Josh Lacey,” we read on his website. The studio has done work for clients like Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, and Reebok.
Sprague’s style was influenced by artists like Saul Bass, Heinz Edelmann, and Milton Glaser. Their colorful and eccentric style was the thing that drew him to design in the first place. Check out his work below.
