Daria Kirpach is Inspired By Russian Fairytales

Daria Kirpach is a St. Petersburg-born, southern Italy-based artist whose colorful artwork is inspired by the Russian fairytales which have formed her imagination. She began her artistic career as an illustrator working in analog, but later she transformed into digital.

“A medium is only a tool, classic hand-drawing lesson helps me a lot,” the artist told in an interview for Ballpit. “I think a lot before starting to draw, I dive into the memory. I try to catch my personal memories to compose the illustration, in the end, it is the only way to remain authentic.”

If you scroll through her colorful Instagram page, you will see illustrations with a twist.

“The message and the deep emotions are the basis of the aesthetic I try to practice, I would say a personal and very colorful narration,” she added.
