Andrew ‘Android’ Jones is an artist best known for his “many layered, psychedelic works and live performances using a custom built digital set up” and his long-lasting career. He began studying art when he was only an 8-year-old boy, but only in 2005, did he started his journey as an independent artist.
“I have seen things in this life that I am incapable of translating into words. In my practice I have visited realms where the imagination ends, and the terrifying beauty of infinity unfolds over and over again,” the artist shared on his personal website.
Described as a digital alchemist and electro-mineralist, the center of his work is spirituality and altered states of consciousness.
“If I could distill into words exactly what motivates me to create the art that I make then it would not be worth making it. Instead I have chosen the Pen. Honestly I don’t know why I make this art, or what compels me to keep creating it; it’s a mystery I intend to pursue for the rest of my life, and each image brings me closer to the Ultimate Truth,” he added.
He documents his work on Instagram where his photos regularly get thousands of likes from his 172,000 followers.
