For Zahra Ammar, Paper is the Ultimate Material for Art

Zahra Ammar, a Pakistani artist currently living in California, uses paper to create amazing art. She finds inspiration in the purest place: her enthusiasm for paper, books, and colors as well as the outdoor activities.

Ammar is a self-taught artist whose work combines many different techniques. To create her works, she uses origami, quilling, kirigami, etc. She often replicates designs from nature and biology. A broad range of colors is a must. We are truly inspired by her attention to detail and her talent for coming up with gorgeous layouts.

Ammar’s work has been exhibited in many galleries around the world, but art is not her only passion. She has a background in finance, economics, and English. If you want to see more of her work, we recommend you check out her Instagram page.
