Holograms Instead Of Real Animals Used By A German Circus For Exquisite Experience

When we think of a circus, we imagine a big tent, acrobats flying around and the inevitable herd of exotic animals: lions, bears, elephants, monkeys and many others. These animals are forced to perform and usually kept in bad conditions and abused and punished daily, which has inspired thousands of people around the world to boycott circuses that feature captive animals. Recently, a German circus found a way to solve the problem and keep everyone happy. Circus Roncalli decided to stop working with real animals and instead designed a show with holograms of animals, to prevent cruelty.

Circus Roncalli has been established in 1976 and have had numerous shows with animals globally, but this year they decided that it is time to put an end to the tradition. They went on to create 3D holographic images from animals, which are displayed by projectors located in different areas in the circus arena. The images are quite big – 32 meters wide, which allows the audience to have a perfect view.
