Paintings That Show Us How People With Troubled Sight See The World

Not everyone has perfect eyesight. Even though more and more people are using glasses as a fashion statement, the fact that without them life would be much harder for lots of people still remains.  This is why this young artist had an idea to show people who wear glasses how the world looks like without them.

Phillip Barlow uses his gift to capture everyday sights and present to us how other people see the world. Born in South Africa in 1968, this artist loves to play with colors and light. He first takes photos with his camera, and then when he has the perfect shot, he plays with the light to transfer the photo to a canvas. Barlow likes to capture “the moment”, a time when everything fits perfectly and then paint it with amazing color palette while displaying a subtle game between the light and the shadows. He believes in perfect harmony and that beauty can be found even in the most unexpected places.
