Madeline Poole’s Nail Art Is Ahead of the Curve

Not all manicures were created equal. Some, more vibrant and unique than others elevate themselves into full-blown art pieces. Take, for instance, Madeline Poole’s nail art. The New York-based editorial manicurist and designer was appointed Global Color Ambassador of Sally Hansen in January of 2014.

Poole’s work has also caught the attention of other brands, with her nail art being featured in publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Interview, and Dazed & Confused among many others. She also creates tutorials that can be viewed on Vogue.com, TeenVogue.com, Refinery29, The Coveteur, and IntoTheGloss.

Her creations, full of graphic patterns and eye-popping colors, remind of abstract works of art. Except, of course, these creations aren’t meant to last. Immortalized only in photos, her nail art has amassed quite a following, with more than 130 thousand fans following her work on Instagram.

Check out some of her nail art in the gallery below and be sure to follow her on Instagram. You won’t regret it.
