Man Adopts 10 Dogs from Shelter

If you own a pet, or have owned one in the past, then you know just how deep between the pet and the owner can get. That also means that you can probably relate just how much it can hurt to find out that one of your closest friends in the world has passed.

Sometimes, that painful feeling can stay for months if not years. It can even change you completely.

While it’s understandable that each one of us grieves differently, one man decided to take things up a notch after losing one of his pet dogs by adopting not just one, but ten dogs from a nearby animal shelter.

Colorado-based accountant, Steve Greig, was still grieving after the loss of one of his dogs when he decided to pay a local animal shelter a visit.

At first, Steve only adopted Eeyore, a 12-year-old Chihuahua with a malady of complications. Since then, Steve has adopted 7 more dogs from various animal shelters, all of which no one but him would have wanted due to complications in their health.

In addition to the 8 dogs that he adopted from the shelters, Steve also owns two more, including his sister’s dog and that of his roommate.

Although Steve has gone out to say that it’s a lot of work trying to tend to as many dogs, but he does enjoy what he’s doing, and at the end of the day, that is all that matters.
