Today we are going to meet Coco, a lovely Maltese dog who is going viral on social media for mastering a funny trick. She is constantly putting her paws in the air to attract everyone’s attention and it seems like her plan is working. Not only did she attract the attention of her family, but Coco’s funny trick is also making thousands of people from all around the world smile on a daily basis.
Katee Lauchner, Coco’s owner, says that her daughter taught Coco the ‘Paws Up’ trick. The cute Maltese was easy to train and now she simply can’t stop showing what she’s learned.
“My daughter taught her using the back of the couch for support and taking a treat above her head to get her to move upward. Over the years, Coco has turned it into her own thing by standing up and putting her paws up, and now she does it all the time even without us asking,” Katee said in an interview with Bored Panda.
Even if they wanted to stop Coco from doing this, they couldn’t, so they find it pretty hilarious. Coco has a sister called Cici, who is also a Maltese dog, and they’re both registered therapy dogs working at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
