Organic Gardener Creates Colorful Designs with Produce

Today, organic foods are recommended for everyone because they are free from chemicals that could have a negative effect on our health. More people are beginning to grow their own food. Others who don’t have the time, get fresh produce at the farmer’s market. This gardener grows her own food, but she also does something else with it.

The images displayed here belong to a California-based organic gardener, Lisa Canepa. Lisa is not just a gardener, but also a plant-based food artist and garden and food photographer.

From these pictures, we can see varieties upon varieties of food produce used as art materials. The colors blend in perfectly as she places them close together. There is really so much about art and it is not just limited to drawing and sculpturing.

They look really colorful and are look nice even as art materials. Who would have thought?

‘Tree of Life’ Organically Homegrown and Handmade with love. 🤗🍅🙏🏼 . In honor of my Grandma Rita who gave me this beautiful tree- an incredibly passionate, kind, loving, hilarious woman- beautiful gardener/ master chef and talented artist 🙏🏼. She was born and raised on the island of Korcula in Croatia with a large family farming heirloom tomatoes, lavender, grapes, herbs and much more. She arrived here in the 50’s and I was blessed growing up wandering in a daze around her tomato gardens that were splashed with lavender, basil, a large collection of roses, fruit trees and so much more. A visit to grandmas meant a fantastic garden fresh meal with homemade tomato sauce, fresh handmade pasta and fresh homemade loaves of seeded bread- shared around a large family table by the fire.. which was graced with grandma’s incredibly intricate stain-glass artwork. With a flip of a switch… images of cranes, crocuses, irises, swans and more lit up as you turned the room’s light on. I realize now how I share so many of her same passions- growing tomatoes, cooking and creating mosaic like artwork 🙏🏼. The tomato doesn’t fall far from the vine. 😅🍅🙏🏼 Thank you for every gift you shared Grandma – We all love you 💗#forevermyinspiration #tomatoinspiration . . . . . . . prints at www.carmelbellafarm.com . . . . . . #tribute#grandma#homegrown#foodstylist#foodart#artist#photography#flatlay#organic#organicgardening#healthy#homegrown#heirloomtomatoes#greenthumb#instagood#photooftheday#foodphotography#farm#beauty#producer#inspiration#organictomatoes#carmelbellafarm#art#womenwhofarm#tree#gyo#handmade#tomatoartist
