Meronpan.94 is the pseudonym for Sofía Román, an artist who suffers from bipolar disorder. The young artist creates adorable illustrations of cute animals in Japanese scenarios.
She says that she has been drawing for many years, but when the disorder hit her, she wasn’t okay. “I used to draw realism and some very intense artworks since I have bipolar disorder and I wasn’t stabilized,” she shared on Bored Panda. She has been motivated to bring some happiness with her art. “Now, I’ve been in peace for some time, so I decided to start drawing and painting things that make myself and everyone else happy,” she added.
Román also plans to open her own shop, where she will sell her merchandise. Until then, she is open to commissions.
