Brooke Barker illustrates what she called sad facts about animals and shares them on her Instagram page that’s followed by over 265,000 people. These seemingly simple illustrations actually require a lot of research and other work.
“Some animals are a little easier for me to draw, especially cats and raccoons, and some are a little trickier, sloths, anteaters, anything I haven’t seen a lot,” Brooke says. When she’s not familiar with an animal, she finds as many photos of it as she can and practices a lot before making the final illustrations.
