Loki isn’t exactly a pup, he’s a wolfdog – a mix of a husky, malamute, and arctic wolf. His best friend, Kelly Lund, found Loki in a blizzard in 2012, and ever since then, they have been inseparable – enjoying backcountry snowboarding, traveling, and going on adventures. Kelly Lund felt something special about Loki, and realized that he had to listen carefully to enter Loki’s world. Together, Lund and Loki go outside their comfort zone, and into the wild. By the time Loki was four, he had seen most of the west of the U.S.
Lund hopes that Loki will inspire people to roam the world with their canine friends, exploring not only nature, but themselves and each other. It was through his adventures with Loki that Lund developed love for photography – he now finds that “pictures have this funny way of becoming more valuable over time.” Loki’s Instagram is the journal of their travels together, and they will make you want to get out there and make unforgettable memories with your pup.
