Ben Cullen loves baking delicious cakes you’ll feel sorry eating. Also known as The Bakeking, he first started his career as a tattoo artist when he spontaneously got introduced to the art of cake decoration.

Later, he began working as a graphic designer, but eventually, in 2016 he chose to become a full-time cake artist. He currently has more than 163,000 Instagram followers and is a star of Extreme Cake Makers on Channel 4.

According to his Facebook page, 28-year-old Cullen β€œaims to create piece of art using edible mediums by pushing the boundaries and look forward to taking on new cake challenges.” He can create anything, from edible shoes, to human organs, to lifelike busts and not-so-adorable animals. He really loves airbrushing his cakes, and says that β€œit comes naturally for him.”

Siew Boon discovered the art of jelly and quickly got hooked. After taking some classes, the Sydney-based creative became really good at making 3D models using only jelly. And as she got better, she started getting requests from her friends.Β 

One friend asked her to make him a cake.Β She delivered an awesome 3D jelly cake with flowers and petals vibrantly colored – everything you would expect from a professional cake decorator!Β After Boon discovered a talent for 3D cakes she decided to dedicate an Instagram profileΒ toΒ her cake art and got more and more requests every day.Β Β 

Sadly,Β in 2017 Boon was diagnosed with breast cancer.Β Of course, she had to put her artwork at ease for a while, but once she got better,Β she wanted to thank the doctors who took such good care of her and did it the only way she knew howΒ –Β with custom made 3D jelly cakes!Β Β 

Today, after having beaten the illness, BoonΒ continues to amaze us with her unique creations. Follow her to get some positive inspiration and perspective:
